Space Coast Bike Tours
Q- How far will I be riding?
A- The Playalinda ride is about 14 miles with a stop at the midway point and The Cocoa Village ride is about 13 miles with a stop in the middle. They are both fairly flat and relaxing so feel free to take your time along the way and enjoy the ride, there’s no rush! The riding time is about one and a half hours on each of the tours with an hour or so break at the mid points. Driving time adds a little bit more so the Cocoa Village tour is about three and a half hours from start to finish and the Playalinda trip is about four to four and a half hours.
Q- What should I bring?
A- You should bring a camera and some sunscreen for sure and if you would like to carry anything along with you on the ride then a backpack or hip bag is great. and if you’re planning on having a swim at the beach then bring a suit and a towel...other than that we’ve got you covered.
Q- What should I wear?
A- Wear something comfortable to ride a bike in. I suggest wearing closed toed shoes...flip flops are a must here in Florida but not always the best choice for a bike ride.
Q- What do we do if it rains?
A- We do get some afternoon rain sometimes but it doesn’t usually last very long. We have rain ponchos available and we can always take shelter in the van for a few minutes if it gets heavy. The only time we have problems is when there is heavy thunder and lightning in which case we are happy to reschedule or refund your registration fee.
Q- What’s included in the tour?
A- You will be picked up in our van and transported to the beginning of the ride. We will provide you with a bicycle, a helmet and a water bottle. We will support you along the ride with our van and professional mechanic in case you need help with your bike, or if you have just had enough and would rather ride in the air conditioning for the rest of the way. We will also provide you with snacks and cold beverages along the way. If you need anything else, feel free to ask us!
